I wait,

Dear Lord, Thy ways are past finding out,
thy love to high. O hold me still beneath Thy shadow.
It is enough that Thou lift up the light of thy countenance.

I Wait-
Because I an commanded to do so,
My mind is filled with wonderings.
my soul asks "why?" But then the quite word,
"wait thou only upon God." and so,
not even for the light to show a step ahead,
but for Thee, dear Lord,
I wait.

"But they that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; They shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
